  Reno and Sparks

Reno is exciting and its setting breathtaking. The city is bounded on the west by the majestic Sierra Nevada range where four distinct seasons display nature's kaleidoscope of color. The Truckee River tumbles out of Lake Tahoe, just 40 minutes away, flows through city center and terminates in scenic Pyramid Lake, 40 miles to the north.

Sparks is smaller and quaint with its cobblestone city square street that welcomes street vendors selling fresh produce in the summer and hosts the annual BBQ rib cook off, Chili cook off, street dancing and other local events.

All summer children play in the dancing water sprays, located in the courtyard in front of the local movie theatre.
